It typically combines process redesign, workflow automation, system integration, and sometimes RPA, depending on where the manual effort actually sits.

RPA operates existing screens the way a person would, opening an application, reading a field, clicking a button. Workflow automation instead orchestrates the sequence and moves data between systems directly. RPA fits when a system has no usable API; where integration is possible, we build that instead, since it breaks less.
