Build
Ship something that works
You have a product idea, a stalled project, or a manual process that should be software. What you need is something real in front of users, not another discovery phase. Build exists once the requirement is understood well enough to start and the blocker is delivery capacity, not clarity.
What changes when Build lands
Work moves from documents to a running system that people can open and use. Scope is delivered in increments you can react to, so decisions get made against something concrete rather than against a description of it. The most common effect is not speed, it is that arguments about what to build finally have evidence to settle them.
How Build is measured
Against the baseline agreed at the start, usually the time a task takes today versus after launch, the volume that can be handled without adding headcount, or simply whether the thing that had not shipped for a year is now live and being used.
